J’s Linen Activewear – 100% Linen Helmet Liners
These breathable, 100% linen helmet liners work well under bicycle/construction helmets as well as hats. Made from preshrunk, light weight white linen, they are designed to fit most adults. These helmet liners are available in two cuts: high and low. The low cut sits low on the forehead, just above the brow line, and is great for cyclists who want to avoid awkward helmet tan lines and dirt blowing into their hair. The high cut sits right about the hairline and works for people who want to avoid extra fabric on their forehead, such as people wearing it under a hat. Both cuts have a 10” skirt to protect your neck and ears from direct sunlight.

“As someone who works in construction during the summer, I was looking for a breathable alternative to the commercially available nylon helmet liners. Not only are these breathable, they are absorbent so I can soak them in water and allow them to evaporate as I work during the hottest days in summer. They fit well under the ball cap I wear.” – W.N., Wyoming.
“Helmet liner? Who knew! I love cycling! The rush of wind as I speed through the countryside – the freedom, the speed, the fun. I live in a cold, windy part of the country and I am used to a wool helmet liner when I ride in the fall and spring; however, when I ride in the summer I had to just put up with the sunburned scalp in helmet vent shapes and skin damage next to my hairline where the sweat washes away my sun block on long rides. Then I tried my first linen helmet liner. I am in love.
The linen liner is lightweight and serves as a natural sun block. No more sun burnt hair parts! In addition, the linen absorbs sweat leaving my hair cleaner after a tough ride. Since we live in a windy climate the linen liner also keeps the wind from blowing gravel and dirt on my sweaty head. It is such a comfort to have a clean and drier scalp after a good ride.
The linen liners available through Kingdom Paths also have a long back. I can now wear my hair long and wrap the long linen tail around my hair which keeps it clean and protected from the wind while I ride.
